VEGAN PUMPKIN MOCHA RECIPE

Warm spices of nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom are the perfect match for rich, decadent cocoa in this dairy-free spin on the pumpkin spice latte. Batch the chocolate maple ahead of time to drizzle on icecream, banana bread, or pecan pie all fall long!

MOCHA COFFEE BASE:

  • 2oz Chocolate Maple Syrup (recipe below)
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • Espresso 
WHISK TOGETHER TO COMBINE

CHOCOLATE MAPLE

  • 2 parts maple syrup
  • 1 part rich cocoa (we love Droste!)
Blend in a high speed blender and decant into a bottle for use for... well, anything you'd use chocolate syrup for! 
(example recipe : 1 cup maple syrup + 1/2 cup Droste)

PUMPKIN SPICE CREAMER:

in a steaming pitcher, combine:
  • 3/4 cup - 1 cup vegan creamer
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional, but nice for frothing and flavor)
STEAM TO COMBINE
ADD PUMPKIN SPICE CREAMER TO MOCHA COFFEE BASE AND ENJOY!
